How the rules are applied
- Skill transferability: each combination is capped at 50 points and the total at 100, as the grid states.
- French points: 50 when all four English skills are CLB 5 or higher, otherwise 25 (including when only some English skills reach CLB 5).
- Grid from November 3, 2026: the Labour Market Integration factor replaces the Canadian work experience line of the core factors; high-wage points need at least one year of qualifying Canadian experience.
- A test score between two rows of a table gets the lower row’s level (example: IELTS listening 7.0 = CLB 7).
